We excited to report that our BBQ & Chili Competition fundraiser has reached its 11th year and continues to grow!

This year we are moving to a new location and expanding the event to accommodate the overwhelming growth and popularity. In addition, we have been selected as a Florida BBQ Association State Championship Site contest this year! We are hosting the event in historic downtown Leesburg and expanding the event into the Shamrockin’ Fest BBQ & Beer Festival & street party. We are seeking partners to help sponsor this 11thAnnual Charity event Friday March 15th and Saturday March 16th,, 2024. Your sponsorship will not only make this event a success and assist our charity in raising money to support our Florian Foundation – a fund that helps LOCAL firefighters with PTSD treatment or major medical treatments that are not covered by insurance, but will also bring a new and exciting festival to downtown Leesburg.

With our new expanded festival location downtown, we have created a great opportunity to become one of the few, maybe only festival in this area to celebrate Irish heritage on this famous St. Patty weekend of festivities. Attendees will be able to access the cookers area and sample BBQ, Chili, and sauces from over 40 of the top teams from throughout the state! This is truly a premier tasting event! And to take it up a notch even further, we have a beer & wine garden that attendees can sample over 30 beers and wines from around the world! And that’s not all. We are introducing the ONLY Irish celebration parade in Lake County on Saturday! We are anticipating even more attendees, teams and businesses competing this year as the popularity of this event has been growing each and every year!  Last year we had over 3,500 attendees and raised over $10,000 towards the effort.

Friday will kick off with classic rock and Irish music, Irish food, green beer, shenanigans, drinks, cornhole tournament, a Micro Elite Leprechaun wrestling event, our Beers & Wines Around the World Tasting garden, and a food sampling area. We are anticipating growing numbers for this addition to our event. Friday night also features our Special Needs Cook presented by Great Chicago Fire Brewery & Grill for our local area families.

Saturday kicks off with the new Irish celebration parade and leads into our BBQ & Chili Competitions and tastings and all-day fun and festivities for everyone.

We are an official Florida BBQ Association sanctioned event again this year. This means teams and their families will be coming from all around Florida and Georgia to compete in this event and visit our great community - shop, stay and explore!

2023 has been an economically challenging and tough year for us to raise money with events. We need sponsors now more than ever.

We also want to say THANK YOU again to our past supporters! We really appreciate your support in the past and we are inviting you to be a sponsor of this event to help make this event a success. We are planning a great spread of over 40 of the best BBQ & Chili Teams in the state!  What amazing food!!

We have sponsorship opportunities starting at only $250 and up. Your donation is considered a tax- deductible gift as well.

It’s a great way to advertise your business by showing support of your local community and the first responders! Sponsorship levels can include being on posters, mailers, banners, the charity website, social media pages, event t-shirts, the stage and more. The earlier we receive sponsorships, the more collateral we can put your on as it is printed.

We look forward to teaming up with your organization. Partnering up with our local businesses creates a great opportunity to be able to give back to our local community and help local first responders. We also hope you will come out and attend the event with lots of great chili & BBQ samples, 3 full bars, BBQ food trucks, vendors, corn hole tournament and some amazing bands!
